The 2013 Winter Wheat Seedings report published by USDA's National Ag Statistics Service was released today. USDA estimates planted Winter Wheat acreage in California at 610,000 acres, the same as last year's final planted acreage estimate. Durum wheat plantings are estimated at 90,000 acres, down approximately 35%.
