The WheatCAP project was a consortium of more than 20 US breeders, the four USDA small grains genotyping labs, and GrainGenes, and extended between 2006 and 2009. The main objective of this project was to incorporate modern selection technologies to increase the competitiveness of public wheat breeding programs.
